Umbrella Health, Wodonga is a private billing service with fees payable at the time of consultation. This includes Work Cover and TAC consultations as we do not invoice third parties directly.
- Up-to-date concession cards and a Medicare card must be presented at every appointment.
- Payment is required at the time of the consultation.
- For your convenience we accept cash, eftpos or credit card. Personal cheques are not accepted.
- Appointment cancellations within 3 hours will attract a non-attendance fee of $40.00 inc GST.
*Medicare rebate and out-of-pocket costs only where applicable.
* To receive the rebate directly into your account, patients are required to register their account details with Medicare. Medicare is responsible for processing this rebate.
Any other out-of-pocket fees, such as medical consumables for a procedure, will be advised at time of booking.

Dr Rosemary graduated with a medical degree in Zimbabwe.
She has been practicing as a doctor in Australia since 2011, completing her General Practice training in Australia gaining the award of Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Rosemary enjoys travelling and spending time with her family and friends.

Dr Smriti Mazumder
General Practitioner, Female, MBBS DCH FRACGP
Speaks English
Dr Smriti Mazumder completed undergraduate Medicine from Mymensingh Medical College (University of Dhaka). She also completed a Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney. She has obtained several years of experience working in hospitals in Bangladesh and Australia.
In particular, Dr Mazumder gained extensive experience across a range of specialities in St. John of God Murdoch hospital and Northern Health prior to joining as a GP registrar in Daintree Medical Centre. During her tenure as a hospital medical officer in emergency department of Northern Health, Smriti decided to pursue a career in general practice.
In her spare time, Smriti enjoys painting, reading and travelling.

Dr Theint (Blossom) Zaw
General Practitioner, Female, MBBS DCH FRACGP
Speaks English
Blossom achieved her MBBS in Myanmar (Burma)in 2005 and obtained her fellowship in General Practice in 2016. She has also completed Diploma of Child Health through Westmead Children Hospital, Sydney.
Blossom had extensive hospital experience at Alice Springs Hospital for a few good years before she started her general practice journey in 2014 with South Gippsland general practice training.
Blossom is a devoted mother and daughter and on her non-working days, she loves spending time with her daughter and her elderly parents. She also loves travelling, cooking, and reading. She also writes health education literature for her countrymen when she has time.

Dr Ramanpreet Gill

Dr Gill achieved her MBBS in India in 1996, completing her RACGP fellowship in 2015.
With her qualifications in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery, Dr Gill has additional interests ranging from the management of chronic medical conditions, paediatrics, women’s health, mental health and geriatric medicine
In her leisure time Raman and her husband love gardening and travelling, and together with their adult children enjoy the Australian lifestyle.

Dr Gavin (Kyaw) Maung

Gavin achieved his MBBS in Myanmar in 2005.
He worked there for four years before migrating to Australia with his wife Blossom in late 2009.
Gavin then worked at the Alice Springs Hospital until late 2014, where he had extensive Emergency experience, as well as experience in Paediatrics, Psychiatry, Orthopaedics & Renal Medicine.
He had a chance to further widen his knowledge & skills at West Gippsland Hospital in 2015, before he stepped into GP life.
Gavin’s special interests are Emergency medicine, Dermatology, Men’s Health & minor surgical procedures.
During his spare time, Dr Gavin loves watching movies and sport. He also is a keen soccer player, enjoys meditation and listening to music.

Dr Salma Yasmin

Dr Salma Yasmin has international experience having achieved her MBBS in Bangladesh.
She has had local experience having worked in Albury Wodonga Health as a hospital medical officer and gained GP practice experience in Melbourne, before entering GP training in the Albury Wodonga region. Dr Yasmin completed her FRACGP in 2021.
Dr Yasmin is motivated as a general practitioner to be able to help patients not only with their medical problems but also psychosocial concerns. Her special interests are in chronic disease management, women’s and paediatric health.
When she’s not helping others as a GP, Dr Yasmin enjoys spending time with her family, travelling and cooking.
